Rio Helmi
Born in Europe in 1954 to an Indonesian diplomat father and a Turkish mother, Rio Helmi’s childhood was spent living in various countries where is father was stationed. Throughout his life he found great passion in photography has led him through many journeys across the Indonesian archipelago and the world. Although fluent in six languages, it seems the best way for him to communicate is through his photographs. Exhibitions of Rio’s still photography has been held in numerous cities such as Madrid, Jakarta, San Francisco and Sydney. Rio now divides his time between Bali & India.
His book Memories of the Sacred was released last October 2010.
Terralogical
Terralogical is a Bali-based photography firm who founds itself providing excellence, in every photography. The two man duo Bonjo Abadi & Govinda Rumi had always found to challenge themselves to new and creative ideas. Originally a wedding photography specialist, in 2011 we convinced them to take photographs of our decor and food. Stepping into unchartered territories, they captured pictures that are worth more-than-a-thousand-words.
